The cameras on our DJI Zenmuse XT are developed by FLIR. They provide high sensitivity (50mK) thermal imaging at 640/30 fps or 336/30 fps depending on the camera model. This sensitivity provides accurate temperature measurements ideal for analytics and telemetry. Both cameras are available with four lens options to meet different business needs. Stabilized and controlled by a custom DJI gimbal, they provide smooth, clear imagery and 360 degrees of seamless rotational movement.
Our XT cameras are radiometric models which allow users to tap any pixel for accurate temperature measurements or select an area to display average, highest, and lowest temperatures within the selection.
Providing you with radiometric data means that images can be analysed and reported on post flight rather than just while the drone is airborne.
Radiometric imaging enables our drones to capture temperature data in every pixel of an image. We can then analyze and send detailed reports and images that examine temperature data in the entire image, delivering quantifiable results.
Radiometric thermal technology also plays a crucial role in the security and protection sectors because it allows detection of objects or people when other imaging systems simply cannot provide good (information-rich) images. Specifically, radiometric cameras have proven invaluable for guarding physical and virtual perimeters around power plants, petrochemical facilities, and substations.
